RTAnalysisHowDoI / AddAnEndMarker

For an open circuit, if I know the track distance, or my official time – how can I use this to mark the end of the run?

Once a start marker is in place, an end point can be worked out from either the distance that was travelled, or the time that it took.

Click on the "Programmatically add a track marker" button.

This will open up a window. Go to the "Based on variable" section and select the variable that you require from the drop down menu. If you know the time that it took to cross the finish line, select "time" as the variable, and enter the amount into the "By amount" box.

Alternatively, if you know the length of the run, select distance as the variable, and enter the amount accordingly.

When you are happy, press the "end of run" marker button at the bottom of the window, and then press "okay".

An end of run marker will now be automatically be added to the track map.
