Reflashing the GPS2
To reflash the GPS2, use “File->Reflash”. The configuration software must be physically connected to a port on the GPS2 itself to reflash; unlike configuration, reflash cannot be performed through another Race Technology unit. The GPS2 should only be reflashed when updated firmware is made available by Race Technology.
The available ports on the GPS2 for reflash are the USB connection (recommended), or alternatively Serial 2. Reflash cannot be performed though Serial 1. Both the USB port and Serial 2 run at 115200 baud, so ensure that the configuration software is set to connect at 115200 baud before reflashing.
