Throttle position
The throttle position is required for meeting the requirements of the R41 procedure. If the vehicle is not equipment with CAN bus then a direct throttle position input is needed.
Throttle position: Connect pin 3 analogue input 1 (A1) to the throttle position signal line. Calibration is done using the configuration software.
Hand throttle: The test procedure only requires 100% throttle detection. In addition to the other methods a hand throttle switch is supplied which can be mounted on the hand throttle and adjusted so the switch is triggered at 100%
- Ensure the switch is adjusted so that minimal force is put on the switch at 100% throttle
