DTA E48 and P8 PRO ECUs
Compatibility
Configuration
These ECUs must be configured from the Other Map Settings > Data Stream menu. Make sure the settings in the ECU match the settings in the image below:
The DTA E48 & P8 PRO ECUs output a 34 byte sequence of data at 9600 baud.
Connections
These ECUs should be connected via serial / RS232 connections. DTA sell a DB15 to DB9 cable - https://www.dtafast.co.uk/dta_products/serial-cable/ (below). This will provide the following pinouts on the DB9 (9 pin connector):
- Pin 2 - TX
- Pin 3 - Rx
- Pin 5 - GND

Not all channels listed in the table above may be available from your ECU. The available data channels vary with the vehicle model, year of manufacture & connected sensors.
