Syvecs S6 & S7 - CAN
Note: The Syvecs Plus (+) ECU models are normally supplied as PnP (Plug & Play) with a different CAN DataStream to match the OEM ECU it replaces. The Race Technology supplied CAN Adapters are compatible with the default CAN output on S6 ECU models & the fixed CAN output on the S7 ECU models.
Connections
Syvecs S6:
- CAN Low - 88 pin connector - pin 81
- CAN High - 88 pin connector - pin 82
Syvecs S7:
- CAN Low - Connector C - Pin 8 (C8)
- CAN High - Connector C - Pin 9 (C9)
ECU settings
To obtain ECU communication on RT CAN enabled devices, it is necessary to first configure the ECU CAN DataStream using the SCal ECU mapping software.
Race Technology has .SC files for both the S6 & S7 ECUs. We will gladly supply these upon request. The files configure the ECU CAN DataStream to match what the Race Technology CAN device expects to see.
However please be aware, using these files could be problematic if other CAN devices are connected to the ECU as well. Contact Race Technology &/or Syvecs before ordering a CAN Adaptor for any model of Syvecs ECU if unsure.
