Offsetting Data Sets for alignment needs

Postby mebilloz » Mon Aug 06, 2012 1:01 am

Hi All
I have looked but cannot seem to find the answer. I have some data from the weekend from a local hillclimb. Trouble is there is an offset in the quick graphs between the two data sets. I assume that the default plots are agains distance, from where, or is this GPS poisition??

Irresepective, I would like to move (in the graph display window), one set relative to the other so that the 'car' markers line up between runs. The 'drift' does seem to grow over time. I am just wanting to do a corner by corner 'eyeball' of the entire data set.

Thanks

Bill

You can shift the map in Run Manager

Thanks for the reply, but its not the track map but the data set I need to shift. I have just played with the method you mention which has offset the track map itself but not the data.

If the image works, you can see the difference between the red and black traces (increasing shift in the X axis), that I would like to be able to 'correct' even if only on a corner by corner basis.

Thanks

A) make sure your x axis is distance

B) you can trim time off the front end of the leading data in Run Manager
