Oil pressure in psi, water temp sensor with single wire

Postby Big_jimmyb » Sat Apr 10, 2021 3:14 pm

Hi guys, is there any way to change the oil pressure to psi read out rather than bar?

Also I have a standard classic mini water temp sensor, single cable resisting to negative. I know I need a pull up resistor of approx 1k ohms but how do I tell the dash the resistance and get the readings correctly.

Both questions easily answered. Take a look here:

Thanks but that answers neither question for the Dash 2 Pro. It is for the data logger.

I think this thread from another forum will help you understand it better, you have to create a calibration map for the sensor readings at various temperatures recoding the ohms, you can then translate that along with you reference voltage and pull-up into the correct voltage values using the volts to resistance xls form in the second post.
