Hi,
I have been wiring the resistors just near the sensor like this.

But over time i have seen a couple of the resistors break. I was wondering if i could just use one 1k resistor like this diagram i have draw up and also was wondering if i could just ground the sensors to the body as per the diagram rather then running back three wires to the DL1.

Not sure if it will work. Alternative i was thinking was to run the wires back but make up a small circuit board or something with a resistor for each sensor on it or it there already one made
Sensor Resistor Wiring
More than one resistor
You will need one resistor per analog input. The location of the resistor shouldn't be that important.
The way you've drawn your circuit, all of the analog inputs will be shorted together.
