Newby Installation

Postby ascatdriver » Sat Mar 24, 2007 12:09 pm

I have just taken delivery of my new DL1 and want to plumb it into my car.
The connector on the back is a 24 pin single connector and not the 2 separate connectors as shown on the help files. The terminology used to describe the inputs is generally easily to decipher but I am stumped over the following: SRx, STx, Stat, Trig, Lap, rL, rG, RH. I want to plumb in a remote start button, rpm, brake on/off and throttle sensor so would like to be doubly sure what the inputs are for before I get started. Can anybody help?

Thanks

SRx = Serial Data in
STx = Serial Data out

Stat = Logging status
Trig =Trigger (Start/Stop logging)
Lap = Lap Marker
rL = 5V RPM input
rG = high voltge RPM ground
rH = high voltage RPM input

Hope this is correct.

Michael

Thanks

This seems to make sense comparing it with the listed inputs on the two connector version.

I will give it a go

Cheers
