Quick DASH1 windshield brkt

Made up a quick windshield mounting bracket for the DASH1, so it's easy to swap between cars/demo/etc.....

Picked up a RAM mount here:

plus small piece of scrap aluminum =


Didn't have any tools to countersink the bolts to attach the RAM mount so I spaced off the DASH1 with some rubber grommets from the hardware store. While I was there I also got a couple of black nylon washers so the 4mm bolts wouldn't dig into the nice annodized aluminum casing.



Found out tongiht that the backlight on the DASH1 is pretty nice; first time I've used it when it was already dark outside.

Simply use a larger drill bit if you want a quick counter sink. Nice idea though and easily adjustable in-car

Yes, I know but the largest one I had on hand wasn't big enough.
