Honda Equations - Fuel Level

Postby cdnav8r » Fri Aug 22, 2008 9:04 pm

Does anyone have the equations for a Honda? I am in need of the fuel level equation for Honda fuel level sensor but I think I have everything else taken care of at this point.

Thanks
Brendan

Fuel Level

I have found the table in the manual for the car that shows the appropriate resistance for a specific fuel amount but it looks like I can only create a table using voltage. Any ideas????

You have to use an extra resistor to turn it into a voltage divider circuit so you can measure voltage change. Make sure your don't exceed the amp capacity of your 5v ref output, so choose the resistor after running through the formulas. Radio Shack has little 5V reference chips if you want to use an external 5v reference.

Do you understand Ohm's Law, i.e. V = I.R ?
