E46 M3 \ M3 CSL wiring

Postby _Nathan_ » Wed Apr 30, 2008 1:28 pm

Posted up for other people to search on as I couldn't find any info on it here or anywhere else when I did mine.

RPM feed - Take from the back of the ODBII port to the right of the driver under the dash (right hand drive car). Pin 9 - Black and Pin 4 - Brown, can't remember which is the + and which the ground but a multimeter will help there.

Throttle - There are 6 cables coming from the throttle pedal, 2 seperate sensors and circuits, one is used for the value, the other for plausability, I've taken the value figure. The wire you want to tap is the plain white wire, this gives values between approx 0.69v at 0 throttle and 4.79v at full throttle.

Brake - just took brake on or off from top of brake pedal, can't remember which and didn't write it down but this was pretty easy.

Steering Angle sensor to come...

Hopefully others will find that useful!

PS. All above on an 03 plate SMG car.
