RPM input DL1 + Dash2

Quick question. I assume I connect my tacho driver from my ecu the DL1 via the rH (rpm high level)?

Do I also have to connect my tacho driver to the engine speed input on my dash2, or will it read the information from the DL1?

It will read from either side. Probably preferable to have it go to the DASH so that if for some reason you have the DL1 out of the car your DASH will still be functional. DL1 will read it from the DASH when it's connected via serial.

If it is from the ECU it should be to rL.

ok great, so would these show on the DL1 as inputs anlogue 1 - 4 or will these be seperate?

When the DL1 is connected to the Dash2, does it have 8 anologue inputs or 12?

The four analogue channels from the DASH2 will show up in the Analysis software and monitor software as channels 17-20. So when you have a DL1 + DASH2 you have 1-8 (DL1) and 17-20 (DASH2).
To enable the DL1 to log the data you need enable the decoding of incoming serial data on the DL1 and enable logging of incoming serial data to the CF card.
