Bought used DL1 Club & Dash4Pro and need 101 to get started

Hi all, so happy to now be in this community, but need help starting. I have searched around and there is a ton of info, but need the starter place. I bought a used Club & dash and need to get started. I have used many data acquistion systems before, and for some reason I feel more lost than ever. (Used: Pi in the 90's, Aim EVO back before GPS, Racepak early GPS. So yes it'e been a while, but I'm no dummy... OK maybe I am).
Is there a good 'getting started'? I know how to physically install it. How do I get it to talk to the PC to configure?
Where do I start?
