Dash 4 Pro - DTA T-Series - RPM Display

I'm trying to set up my DASH 4 Pro for my new DTA T-Series ECU (Previously using a different ECU). I've had the CAN adaptor updated (thanks RT) and I've re-configured the inputs for the new ECU. All the sensor inputs work (temperatures, pressures TPS etc.), but the RPM reading is just nonsense.
The input I'm using is RPM (Engine RPM) as listed here https://www.race-technology.com/wiki/in ... TAT-Series
It displays something, as in I get numbers displayed with the engine running, but it bares no resemblance to the actual RPM. And the value seems to slowly (over 10 seconds) rise and fall over 5 or 6 thousand RPM. Also, when you rev the engine, it has no effect. But with the engine stopped, it drops to zero. So it's getting a signal only with the engine running.
Any thoughts? ECU or DASH config?
