Upgrading to DL1 Sport

Postby lotus7 » Mon May 03, 2021 1:32 pm

Been a long time DL1 Mk2 user and for last 4 years also a Dash 2
Had no real problems , most analogue inputs via DL1 , only fuel pressure on Dash 2 analogue input
But contemplating upgrading to a DL1 Sport and using V10 and not v8.5
However this will relegate all my RUN's from 2011 onwards , useless. Can V8.5 read DL1 Sport RUN files ?

Thanks Lorne
My one racing service provider has one in stock.
I have sent an email to support/sales re a problem experienced on Saturday with my DL1 Mk2 - Dash 2 combo
After uneventful race 1 ( logger and Dash performing as it should) in race 2 , start of lap 2 ( just after start /finish line ) the low oil pressure alarm ( set as alarm 2 ) came on , I immediately coasted to a safe halt.
Afterwards , I analysed the log file . No low oil pressure indicated on graphs and max /min summary stats. Pressure graph line very similar to final lap, race 1 when slowing to coast after start/finish line -
I have not changed the Dash 2 config at all, alarm settings the same , voltage drop to below 2,4bar in last 15 meters before dead stop and engine cut - lowest OP indicated on summary stats 0.9bar only at switch off or

Could this be a faulty serial cable or connection on either logger or Dash 2 connection . No other issues with Dash and logger indicates no problem with sensor
