Solid State Drive

Postby daveF » Thu Feb 18, 2021 4:27 pm

I've installed a new solid state drive in my notebook and it is the boot drive. The original drive is still in the notebook to be used as a data drive. Video certainly takes up space rapidly...
I should do a fresh install of Analysis v8.5 (DL1 mk2) and my question is, specifically where is all my data and configuration information?
At least I presume my approach should be a fresh install followed by copying some specific directories, by all means correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks,
Dave F.

When you make a DL1 MK2 configuration file, it is up to you to save the file in a suitable location, the software does not automatically store the file in a specific directory. Unfortunately on that model of datalogger it isn't possible to read the settings back form the unit, so really you need to think where you would have saved the file when it was originally created, maybe it's on the DL1 memory card.

Just do a search for *.RUN files on that drive
