Starting recording a better visual

Postby MarcusG116 » Thu Mar 03, 2016 6:40 am

Hi there

I have a Video 4 with a DL1. A few time now I have pressed the record button but it hasnt worked ie nothing recorded. They were newly correctly formated cards and waited until GPS was ready. Where the two units are mounted I cant see the lights when I strapped into seat. Even if i sort of twist to see the little LEDs I cant really tell if the recording one is light. Is there a way to externally know if its recording?

Thanks heaps
Marcus

Hello Marcus,

What version of the DL1 do you have?

If you have a recent model it should be possible to fit an external led.

With the unit not recording any data this can be down to the configuration on the units. If you send me the run file you recorded i.e. with no data in it and the configurations for both the DL1 and the VIDEO4 I can inspect this for you.

Send the run file and configuration files via email to:

daniel@race-technology.com

Kind regards,

Hi there

Just following this up, after a long time I know, but have not received a reply about this. I sent an email late last year.

Thanks
Marcus

Hi Marcus

Apologies if you have not previously received a response from our technical support team.
A member of our support team has now sent an email to you, which you should have received yesterday.

Please let me know if you have not received this and I will look into it.

Best regards,
