Video without video licence?

Postby CharlesElliott » Wed Sep 18, 2013 3:10 pm

From more recent threads, I understand that it is possible to use video, in a limited way, without a video licence - e.g. export is at 25% etc. Is that correct?

In Analysis 8.5, if I load a video file, I can sync it OK in run manager. If I then use the Video tab, I just get a window saying that I don't have a video licence.

Should I be able to review video without a video licence?

That is as expected - without a license you can import a video, and you can export at a limited resolution. But you can't use the video window to have video along side data - sorry!

Load any video into the analysis along side your DL1's run file. If you're able to see the video in a video window then your DL1's serial number is licensed to allow video to be synchronized for analysis with it.
