Syntax error in simulated variable units

Postby MMiskoe » Tue Jul 02, 2013 2:26 am

I'm trying to set up RPM based on GPS speed. To do so, I've activated the Simulated RPM in the variable manager. Also there I have selected custom units and input the following:

VAR_015*232.05

If I have just loaded the Analysis program and create the equation above, all is good. Where I have a problem is if I get it typed in and hit enter rather than the OK button. By hitting enter, the text is wiped out, when I re-enter it I get "Error in Expression Syntax at position 15". Kind of a pain to have to exit the whole program, re-open it and start from scratch.

I am picking the VAR_15 and the "*" off the menu's and manually typing in the number value.

yes - it can be confusing... when you click enter it's moving you to the next line, hit backspace and you will get it back.
