Gear Variable

Is it possible to get the gear variable to work without RPM?

No. It needs speed and rpm. It figures out the gear from the ratio of the two.

Mmmm, FWIW I have a direct gear sensor on my bike motor, so can use that (which is located on the selector shaft) for a direct measurement of gear selection.

So if you happen to be using a bike motor, you might be in luck... ;)

Opps, yes forgot that you can do that for a sequential box.

In the Dash 2 you can setup the gear selector, via a sensor see
