Problems Configuration Dash 2 with DTA

Hi mates

I have installed a Dash 2 with a DTA S40 ecu, the communication is via CAN cable Race technology . The other sensors "oil pressure, fuel pressure and oil temperature" are connected direct to the display.

I started with the settings and I have problems in communication ... I don´t check RPM signal and the temperature signal of water is not updated, always in the same value.

In Data Stream option I have set the communication data and find no solution because there is no communication

Hello,

Regarding RPM by default it is taken from the DASH2 built in input. You need to configure the DASH to take the RPM from the RS232. Using the 4 buttons navigate to SPEED RPM GEAR in the menu and change...

RPM RS232 to YES
and
RPM DASH2 to NO

Is the first value you see for water temp correct then never changes?

If this is the case it sounds like your DASH is locked to a DL1. When a "package deal" of DL1 and dash2 is purchase the DASH2 will stop decoding the data from the serial port if the serial number of the DL1 is not init.

To check this hold down the down button as switching on if it displays a number along side the firmware version then it is locked to a DL1.
