Dash2 Laptime Display

Postby mstutt » Wed Mar 21, 2007 3:18 pm

I have a Dash2/DL1 combination.

With regard to laptime display/lapcount/predictive timing, is it possible to modify where on the dash this is displayed? By default, this data is displayed in place of certain sensor values (in this case, my oil temperature and pressure). Lap count is displayed in place of speed. Given this behaviour I've had to reduce the number of track markers I was using as the predictive values were being displayed too often, obscuring my view of the sensor values.

It strikes me there is plenty of screen real estate available in the lower strip of the display where warnings are displayed. Is it possible to move laptimes/predictive information to that portion of the screen along with the lap counter?

As you probably are aware, you can alter how long the timing info is displayed but cannot (as a user) move it.

I will pass the request along for more configuration options.

Thanks for the input!

Al,

No matter whether I change the display time in the configuration software or directly into the Dash 2 using hard wired buttons, the sector/lap time always displays for 30 seconds. I am using version 6.3.100.

regards.... :(
