How import VD4 to Adobe Premiere CS5

I got footage recorded with Race Technology SW in VD4 format. But I have a problem, I can not edit the footage in Adobe Premiere CS5. Could you advise me codec or converter where I VD4 transferred to another format, which will be supported with Adobe software?

There are certainly a number of video editors that will open a VD4 file if you rename it to .MPG - I think I did hear however that AP wasn't one of them.

It most definitely will open in the freely available VirtualDub software. All you need do is browse for all file types and select the VD4 directly.

I think you are limited to AVI output but you can choose the codec, bitrate etc. from the Video->Compression options. You can certainly read AVI with AP no problem.
