Greetings –
Fantastic new opportunity here. I was sort of hoping I could still use my “antique” SmartyCam. I have mp4 files from it – and video shows the g, speed, time, laptime, and position on track. Unfortunately the software doesn’t integrate with the video. So:
  • Is there something special in the GoPro mp4 files the SamrtyCam doesn’t have?
  • Or, have I grabbed a file off my PC that has been converted or something?
I suspect the former - but the latter is possible too. Any ideas - or do I put a GoPro on my "need to buy" list?
Regards - Jim

Greetings -
Got it - seems only GoPro 5,6,7,8,9 (poor GPS) + NOT 360.
Thanks - Jim

Thanks again for the resend - I've share the details and links to the software with a popular Corvette Forum I hang out with. A few are getting interested in lo-cost DAQ and this is a good entry point to more data.

Thanks and, Cheers - Jim

Has any compatibility testing been carried out with the new Hero 10?

We have not yet tested with the HERO10.
Our software is compatible with all other GoPro models that have built-in GPS.

See my new thread RE the Hero 10. It's working great in early tests, we'll see.

Good day Support
I got the email from support advising me of this update
I do have a GoPro standalone licence
Which version is the latest?
After clicking on download, I received an email with the link, and downloaded the installation file
The file states it is version 10.0.0182
It self installed and I opened it and loaded my last joined GoPro file - no problem
However it the version at the top left states version 10.2.76

Also , on the email I received , it states Thank you for trying our new GoPro software, this trial version is valid for 30 days from the first time that you use it
Question , why a trial version if I have a registered working licence ?
Can you clarify please?

Regards

The build number and analysis software version numbers are different:

The email says trail, but it’s the full software and if you've registered already that licence will carry over

is there any way to my video playback to match with information on charts? im constantly seeing video 0.3 to 0.5s in front of my data. i can see me braking and speed still goes up for a while.
GPS, map and speed looks in place.

im not using smoothing in speed, but 0.3s on longitudinal aceleration - should i disable all smoothing?
