Re: Analysis Software - Multiple Vehicles
The short answer is that on the older DL1 MK2 it was a "pain" as the sensor in volts->units conversion was done on the PC, so you had to keeping loading in different variable files. I don't think you are missing anything here. On later DL1s (MK3 onwards, sold from about 2008) the conversion from vol...

Re: Omex 710 Tacho output
Hello
The tachometer output from an ECU is to be connected directly to the low level RPM input (for any RT product).
The wiring diagrams for the DASH2 can be found here:

Re: Motorbike 1 wire water temp connector installation advice
Hello
Yes, to use that sensor you will need a pullup resistor and this should be around 270-300 Ohms.
A little bit more would be ok but definitely not less.

Re: Speed not regitering
There is no pull up resistor built in to the DASH2, so if you sensor does not drive the output high you will need a pullup resistor.

Re: Speed not regitering
If you have a multimeter I would check the output from the sensor with a voltmeter to ensure that the trigger output is changing state.

Do you have a logged data file from the DL1? If you want to send a data file and your configuration files over to me I'll take a look at them for you. mhill at race-technology.com

Do you know which firmware you are running at the moment? The latest DL1 MK2 firmware is V43 from May 2011.

Re: DL1 Mk2 has power but wont turn on...
Hello You could check if the compact flash card housing pins have been pushed through the back and are touching each other. If not, it sounds like the unit will need to be returned to RT for repairs, although due to the age of the unit this may not be possible. We are currently offering 30% off a ne...
