Hi Charlie - What version of firmware is your DASH2 unit running on? To find out, press and hold the DOWN button while the dash is powering up. Keep the button held until you see the firmware version number appear along the bottom of the display.
Best regards,

Re: Battery light staying on
Hello Samueljon - No, the DASH2 already has a resistor built in. You need to do is connect the field/alternator warning terminal on the alternator, to the green/red wire on Connector A of the dash wiring harness. More information on wiring the dash into the vehicle can be located here: https://www.r...

Re: oil pressure sensor checks
Hello Anthony, If you have a question, why not email me directly like you have done many times in past, every one of which I have responded to? I'm sorry if this has somehow fallen short of your expectations. Temperature sensors have a potential divider resistor. The pressure sensors we supply do no...

Re: How to show min/max value in a sector, Dash4Pro
Hello, Using min/max in a formula allow you to see the min or max or a set of variables. For example... MAX(EGT1,EGT2,EGT3,EGT4) will display the hottest of the 4 EGT's. On the DASH4 it is possible to do it by using x in a user defined variable as the previous value. For example... If(EGT1>x,EGT1,x)...

Re: Dash 2 Pro fuse
Excellent thanks for the information, it seems the correct fuse rating has been used for your installation, this means there shouldn't be any internal damage caused to your DASH2PRO. From your first post it appears the issue is located within the CONN B connector itself or the connected wiring. Thi...

Re: requirement for diodes in circuits.
Hello, The DASH2PRO has built in protection diodes, so there is no requirement to fit any on the dashes wiring. However we do expect the customer to fit the supplied fuse (0.5A / 500mA) into the dashes wiring. If unsure we offer a fitting service or you may want to consult a qualified electronics t...

Re: "Speed and distance options" for Dash 4 Pro
Hello Charles, These options are only relevant when our DASH4PRO is connected to our SPEEDBOX product. They have no affect when using the DASH4PRO with our DL1 / RT LIVE data loggers. Additionally, if the second speed option is selected "processed speed" is used instead of "GPS speed" when availabl...
