Re: How do I change variable name?
You are right, it is not difficult. In the Analysis software, select Data - Variable Manager - External Inputs (in this case) - Then "+" on variable 5 - Variable Name which you then rename as desired. While you are in there, look over some of the other things you can do such as units, smoothing and ...

DASH4PRO / DL1-CLUB License
New install. Tracking this down but this is what I see at power-up...IF the SD card is in place. I'm sure it is something simple. Thanks for any suggestions.

BTW…on the AEM box tied into a DL1 via the serial port on the latter. Would you get full readings at 100Hz for the various sensors? Or would you wind up with a slower rate, especially as more sensors were used? Ideally I'd want the full 100 Hz, and with the other DL1 inputs useable for other chann...

It's easy to do this sort of thing on your own too. I used my DL1 in various open top cars. So the dim low viewing angle LEDs don't cut it. I added a green incandescent light and relay for the logging status signal. It works GREAT and is visible at 12 Noon from amy angle. http://www.pbase.com/sjmarc...

Sometimes I have run across CF cards that seem doomed. They work in digital cameras or plugged into a PC. But even when erased and reformatted, they don't work in my DL1. The green logging light comes on....but then it goes off in about 5-10 seconds. Original DL1 and firmware from when they first ca...

Re: Can I replace this?
DaMan wrote::oops: I lost the green terminal block that you screw the sensor wires into on my DL1. How can I find a replacement? Is there any other way to connect the wires until I get a replacement?
Thx
RT sells them...they used to be listed as an accessory. Try dropping them an email.

Yes I have and the same card works in my other DL1 Dave I hear ya and mean no disrespect. It's just that 'puters tend to be weird at times. Once you get it fixed it will stay fixed. Sometimes I will fix something in some program and I am not 100% sure what I did except that the thing works. Maybe t...
