Only RT can answer as to why.

I've had no troubles with the Keyspan brand adapter.

Other devices can be done from the CF on the DL1 but the DL1 itself must be done by serial.

IIRC, MK2 units (large black plug) have a 3 axis sensor that allow any orientation. MK1 was 2 axis.

If you click in the lap & sector time window, then hit ctrl+C. Go to Excel and paste (ctrl+V) it will dump the entire table into Excel.

DASH won't display lap timing info if it's not logging. m So in this case you weren't getting lap timing because you were not logging. As to why you didn't get any log files, how is your DL1 set up to start logging? manual or autostart? BTW, you can set a first LED on the DASH3 to be a logging statu...

I haven't tried the RT integrated video in over a year but at that time is was almost unusable for me; as I understand it a lot of it depends on the video formats you want to use and the codecs you have on your machine so I definitely agree with you in wanting to "demo" it but I'm not awar...

In Grand Am racing in the USA, all the GM Cobalt cars are running CAN adapters and I know the VW GTI team is as well. The adapter itself is not the issue, it's in knowing or being able to find out how the channels are defined because that it typically not published information.
