How does eveyone tap the wires for the sensor? Looking at these: http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk/VWPweb2000/connectors/photo/c560.jpg Works like this: http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk/VWPweb2000/connectors/Images/GroupImage.GIF Yes. That's what I used to tap into the RPM signal wire.

I did some research into this myself last week. It took me forever to find a sourse that would sell them in small quantities, but you can order them from Mouser Electronics in the US.

It started working fine again just after I posted this, and I haven't been able to make it act strange again, so I don't know what was going on. I'll call if I have any further trouble.

DL1 stopped working

It's getting steady power, but the Power On, Status, and Logging lights just flicker erratically. At one point while this was happening, the GPS Lock light seemed to be behaving normally, but I was never able to replicate it. I tried inserting a CF card to see if maybe it was just the LEDs, and conf...

Thanks. I made the mistake of trying to go from Log Status to Ground. It works a lot better when I hook it up to a +12v or +5v source. :D

Log Status output

I'd like to set up my DL1 to have an external LED to show the logging status, but I'm only measuing a 5mV output when logging. Is it supposed to be this way? It would be kind of nice if I could have about 1,000 times that, since 5mV isn't going to light up much of anything.
