Re: oil pressure sensor checks
Have not received a response from RT on this subject. in fact I am disappointed at the poor level of response from RT and concerned at the level of problems experience by customers, a lot of which seem tobe unresolved. Does not give confidence in reliability

Re: oil pressure sensor checks
I was wanting to undertake static electrical checks, rather than a full pressure calibration.
Checks completed to date do not appear to measure the drop down resistance that RT say is fitted to their supplied units, and I cannot get nny measurement of the basic resistance of the pressure sensor.

Re: engine malfunction warning and OE oil pressure switch warnings.
MARTIN, I AM STILL COCERNED REGARDING THE MALFUCTION AND OILPRESSURE WARNINGS. Your last response quotes" should be able to connect inputs directly to the analogue inputs etc etc". A connection ( joining of wires)can be made as advised, but I am looking for more confidence that it is not going to da...

Re: engine malfunction warning and OE oil pressure switch warnings.
martin, Can you clarify your comments with a little more info. The ecu malfunction output is low at less than 3v for the indication of a fault and 12v pluse when no fault existis. In the case of the oil pressure switch, the ninitial low pressure on start is a 12v output and once the pressure has rea...

requirement for diodes in circuits.
The OEM vehicle wiring diagrams show diodes being fitted to a number of circuits, in particular, some of those that involve the instrument display/combination meters. When replacing or building a instrument display using a dash 2 pro unit as upgrade is there a requirement to embody similar diodes to...
