Re: Fuel level dispaly
This morning the reading is stuck on 30 and won't change with the changing float level
The sender unit still gives 0.13V full and 1.15V empty and all voltages in between
I've spent another hour checking what I've already done and sent numerous configurations but with no change.

Fuel level dispaly
I have a VDO dip tube fitted to my 30 litre fuel tank. Using the 5V ref from the Dash 2 and a 100 ohm resistor I get 0.15V for full and 1.15V for empty. It's pretty much linear in between these values I enter the data into the table to create an equation for the sensor and upload that to the Dash ht...

Re: Oil Pressure Readout
Having to return to this after being side-tracked with other things. I've now noticed that what was once a functioning fuel level readout is "stuck" on 2.4 - no matter where I place the fuel level sender. The voltage range feeding the Dash2 changes and gives the same values as it did previ...

Oil Pressure Readout
Following on from a successful resolution to the fuel sender problem I hope this is the final problem to resolve I'm running a CAN connection from a DTA S40 to the Dash 2 where rpm, speed, air and engine temp display correctly. I have the oil pressure displayed but it counts up to around 650 then re...

Re: Sensor scaling
Hi, Thanks very much for the prompt reply You'll have to excuse my ignorance but I guess I'm looking at something like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-to-DC-Converter-Regulator-12V-to-5V-3A-15W-Car-Led-Display-Power-Supply-UK-/322264637060?hash=item4b08781e84:g:~vsAAOSwP~tW34sf If so should the u...

Sensor scaling
I'm currently trying to set up a VDO dip tube fuel sender to a Dash 2. The resistance measured at the tube when empty is 83 ohms and full is 5 ohms I have fitted a 100 ohm resistor and I read 0.42V for empty and 0.03v for full. Is this sufficient of a range to get a meaningful reading on the dash fo...

Apologies for the slow reply but not been on here for a while Short term answer was to connect the wheel speed sensor directly to the Dash 2, negating the can altogether although this now means that the Launch Control utility on the DTA won't work. I'm only using a Dash 2 so the Can is supplying RPM...

DTA S40 speedo output to Dash 2 via CAN
Last query re: S40 via CAN to dash 2 I have the speedo set up correctly in the DTA software and have an output, checked using Lite Monitor, to the Dash 2 Not actually showing a reading in this shot but it's parameter misc4 (speed from the ECU) http://i399.photobucket.com/albums/pp79/Mazdaman/Odds%20...
