^Bikey - if you could locate that file, I would greatly appreciate it! I am striking out at all of the local electronics stores for an adapter that doesn't use the prolific.... I have used these drivers with a couple of "Prolific-chip" adapters on several different computers. Good luck! I...

Stan, can you give more specifics an adding that LED? maybe an inside picture? Jeremy, we bought the DL-1 for motorcycle testing and the panel light was not in the rider's line of vision. I stuffed a pushbutton switch (to start logging) and a bright LED (to verify operation) into a plastic 35mm fil...

Wild guess -- is there any chance that you are using accelerometer data to interpolate position between GPS readings? If it is not dead straight on the car axis it could "move" you sideways.

If the driver can't feel it he needs to get out of the car and seat someone with better sensitivity to the ton of iron he is throwing around.

Re: Engine RPM Pulses

Might seem a silly question but how many pulses per revolution are there with a Ford 1600 Crossflow Engine. The reason I ask is that I am getting soem strange figures! Any help would be gratefully received. I'm going to stick my neck out and say pault is right if your pickup measures all cylinders,...

It would be very kind if there is anybody who can give me a hint.

Was it not reported here that 9.2.0 was a misprint?

Don't go overboard on updates unless you can confirm that they have been tested and confirmed on the same version of hardware that you have. There have been some issues reported with new updates on older hardware.

Re: FAO-Support

I wonder if one of the techy guys could have a quick look at the following post and offer up a solution Please. m Curently pulling out what little hair I left whilst looking at the offerings available from STACK I don't know just what you are after here. A resistor alone will not drop the 12 VDC to...

I've waited up to about 20 minutes. No luck. I've also moved the car to the middle of a runway, so it should have a pretty good view of the sky. :/ Just in case, examine the GPS cable for pinches and tight bends. Kinks in that cable are a real no-no. Make sure the center pin of its plug is not bent.

Re: DL1 Connection Help

I then go to vairiable manager and tick the boxes next to those inputs and change the names. Is this all I have to do to get the DL1 to sense these. That will give you the actual analog voltage displayed on graphs. If you are looking for some kind of 2-condition "on/off" indicator some ad...
