LiteMonitor / DisplayOptions

Display Options

The Display Options section will allow you to alter both the precision and filtering of the data that is displayed.

Lock Grid Layout:: This prevents new messages being added to the list or old ones from being removed.

Use Larger Font: This displays the result in a larger font.

Raw data filtering:

Note: Filtering only has an effect on raw data

By raising or lowering the filtering bar, the amount of time over which the samples are averaged will be changed. With the filtering set at a low, the samples will be shown very accurately, but in quick succession. Raising the levels filtering will diminish the accuracy of the readings on the one hand, but will also make them more easily intelligible on the other.

Precision:
By altering the precision bar, the levels of accuracy displayed will change. If for example, you were to increase the level of precision to the maximum, then the monitor will display information to eight decimal places.

Update Rate:
By using the update Rate bar, you can control the number of times that the information is updated on screen.

Reset Origin
The Reset Origin button, on the right hand side of this section, can be used to reset the x and y positions to 0. This can be useful if, for example, logging has been started without there being a firm GPS lock.
