DASH3 Config sending/reflashing fault

Hello,
A problem with a new DASH3.
Everything is going well.
The DASH3 is hooked up directly on DL1.

Then I loaded a new configuration via the DL1 with SD card like

and get the error message "Invalid Config".

Then I loaded the FACTORY configuration and then went nothing more.
After the restart, the start bitmap (Race Technology) is displayed,
then comes "Main Application". No backlight.
I reflasht the newest firmware via the DL1 with SD card like

the same result.
What´s wrong?

Hi Andre,

Do you see any of the error messages shown in the second link regarding reflashing? Or does the dash not react at all to the reflash file being present on the card?

Hi,
No reaction during the flash process, no "Programming....".
After restart only start bitmap (Race Technology) and then "Main Application". No backlight.

I believe the unit has been corrupted by a failed reflash. The unit will need to be sent back to us for inspection.

Hi,
thanks, I've now first insert the SD card and then turned on the power. Risky?
Then reflashen worked and now everything goes again. So my question is this the right way.

Hi,

Great to hear you have gotten the unit working again. The process outlined in the link you have pasted is the procedure for reflashing the unit via the DL1 Mk2/Sport logger, however the process should remain the same for all of our loggers.

There is no risk to starting the DL1 with a card already inserted.
