Hi
I am new to this forum and seeking some assistance in configuring the RPM display on a DASH2. (standalone)
The RPM signal is a clean 33-40Hz 12 volt square wave at idle.
1k pull up to +12 volts, version 9.1.7 firmware
ECU is standard Subaru WRX 2005. The motor is in a custom manx style buggy.

Attached is the configuration of the RPM setup.

I have tried with no success, adding filtering, averaging.
the only time I see the RPM scale appear is on startup for a few seconds and then it goes back to 0.

All other programing seems to work fine
Signal has been checked, and wiring checked to connector 1, pin C

Dear Sir,

Can you tell me where you are taking the RPM signal from on the vehicle please?

Also I noticed that the firmware installed on the unit is quite old, this may be contributing to the issue you are experiencing. Follow the link below to our knowledge base, this has information on re-flashing the DASH2:

The RPM signal is direct to the Subaru ECU.
Connector B137 Pin 9.
This in the standard car goes direct to the dash cluster.

I will try and reflash now and report back.

Thankyou
Glen

Reflashed to 9.3.4
reloaded config file
No difference in the result.

Problem resolved.

The ECU signal was not being pulled fully to ground. dropped to approx 2 volts.
Removing the 1k pull up resistor to +12 volts fixed the issue.
I tried a 5k pull up, it also failed.

Thanks for your assistance.
