No pitch, yaw or roll data

Postby marck_c » Mon Mar 15, 2010 1:07 am

Hello,

I am using a DL1 and have noticed that some of the standard variable available are pitch, roll and yaw. I record my runs and get good data, except that all these reading along with the appropriate rate info, is basically a flat line on thex,y graph. Has anyone encountered this, and is there a fix?

Do you have a yaw sensor equipped DL1?

Yes, it's an option when initially ordering your DL1 (see the DL1 ordering page).

Is it possible to retrofit this feature, along with the 6g accelerometor option to an existing Mk1 DL1?

My understanding is no. Those options can only be part of the original fitment.

if you desire those, you'd be best off selling used unit (typically ~$450-500 for a used MK1) and purchasing the unit you desire.

Jlucas is correct, the gyro is a factory fit only option and can not be retrofitted.
