EFI euro 4 + CAN interface + configuration + Dash2-DL1

{not sure if it's software or hardware oriented topic, if i'm posting to the wrong board, admins are kindly requested to move it to a more appropriate place)

Hi everybody,

In my set up there is an EFI euro 4 ECU, which has CAN interface output.

And i have some questions, if anybody could answer it would be great.

1) CAN configuration ;

I'm deeply interested showing these values directly from the ECU to dash2 plus logging them on DL1.In my ECU manual i have the following parameters;

Name : Rpm
Length : word
Position : Byte0=MSB,Byte1=LSB
Scaling = 1rpm/bit
Freq = 100
ID Hex =300

Name : Oil Pressure
Length : word
Position : Byte4=MSB, Byte5=LSB
Scaling : 1mbar/bit
Freq : 50
ID Hex: 306

Name : Water Temp
Length : byte
Position : byte0
Scaling: 0 bit = -10; 255 bits = +150 deg C
Freq : 12.5
ID Hex : 30B

The above sensors (oil and temp) are installed by manufacturer of the engine.
I know that the CAN interface can transmit datas at rate of 1Mbit , and its working correctly with terminated CAN bus, because i can display the battery level (even with some wrong values, which i suppose is a matter of proper configuration).

My question on above settings is how to interpret/translate them in the CAN configuration utility.
I'm bit lost with 11 or 29 bit length, starting bit, length, type (intel,motorola), signed, float, and so on.

Any hint would be highly appreciated. The wiring loom is double-tripple checked.

2) Rpm display on Dash2

In the case that CAN adapter is configured properly, is there anything i should set in the menu of the Dash2 in order to display the rev's from the ECU?
I have been searching around, and i found out that in Dash2 menu, there are some settings which enable/disable the RS232 rpm.
Am i going to the right direction?
Of course, i have enabled the "Decode data" on the DL1, to log it as well.

Thank you for your time reading this.
Whenever my installation ends (hopefully very soon), i will come back with full feedback and pic's to help other people with similar setup.

Regards from sunny Athens,

I got the answer from the exceptional technical support.

I will copy paste the settings in the case that somebody else need it in the future.

General options in the can configuration utility : Transfer rate of 1mbps

2) To display RPM from the CAN adaptor you will need to select the RPM RS232 to YES and RPM DASH2 to NO in the DASH2 menu.

Thank you guys!
