Will any GPS antenna work?

Will this antenna work with a DL1?

It's so cheap in comparison that it's hard to believe it might work. I managed to kink my antenna cable so I got bad data over the weekend.

There is nothing in the specification to suggest it would not work with the DL1, I guess you'll just have to give it a try!

I received two of these yesterday (one plus a spare). Both units worked well in my short test.

There are little rubber feet on the 4 corners so they might be less likely to scratch paint. However the magnet probably has 1/2 the pull force as the original Race Technology one on the exact same piece of sheet metal. Likely not a problem as the Race Tech one could be considered excessively strong on production car sheet metal. ;) For very thin sheet metal you would likely want some double-sided tape/Velcro/etc. to hold these Spark Fun ones in place.
