Hello,
I have a DL1-Pro and am logging GPS, internal accelerometers and analog input #2 which is connected to a ribbon switch
taped over my brake pedal. While doing some braking testing I noticed that the built-in accelerometer signal reacts before
the brake pedal switch is pushed (see attached .jpg).
In the setup of the DL1 accelerometer I left all the "Maximum rate of change" and "Smoothing Filter Time" parameters set to the default "0" values.
I doubt that the car started decelerating before I hit the brake so is this an anomaly of some built-in filtering of the built-in accelerometer signals?
Thank you,
Jeff.
Long time user - love my DL2 and DL1-Pro.
Why does my analog data lag the built-in accelerometer data?

Hello Jeff,
Please would you send your .RUN file and DL1 configuration file to service@race-technology.com
We will then investigate and get back to you.

Re: Why does my analog data lag the built-in accelerometer data?
Issue resolved. Was using the accelerometer and the GPS to calculate speed. The DL1 mounting position was rotated last minute so was using the wrong accelerometer axis for the speed calcs.
Thank you.
Jeff
