just installed the rt wheel speed sensor but get 0 mph on the dash 2. led on the sensor blinks when the target bolt passes but no mph readout on the dash. I put the correct pulses per mile into the dash via the buttons as per the manual. checked the wiring, still nothing. 5v reference shows 4.5 volts, could this be the problem? target bolt is about 8mm dia.

Have you set the source for speed sensor to be "internal" and not "RS232"?

Are you sure your sensor is 5V? The RT sensor needs 12V:

I think wiring it to the 5v reference is where ive gone wrong. It should be wired to 12v as you rightly said. Will try this over the weekend. Thanks.
