1 wire alternator/voltage wiring question

I have a 1 wire alternator, and am not sure how to wire the voltage readout on the dash 2 to this alternator. anyone done this or know how to?
On a one wire alternator, the one wire is your 12V (nominal). So anywhere that wire goes should be 12V.
