DASH2 install in toyota Supra

Postby mrmward » Fri Jul 19, 2013 1:36 pm

Have connected up my dash2 and got some issues.

On the CON1 and CON2 I have connected both 12v and ground feeds. The headlight warning to CON1 and then the sidelight to con2.

When the lights are on the sidelight connection to CON2 goes to 12v and then the whole dash goes off rather than the back light coming on. Occasionally the warning/shift lights will all flash. turn the lights off on the car and dash comes back on again.

Anyone come across this before?

Hello,

Is this a DASH2 standard or pro?

I can't see what would cause this without shorting out the power supply. I would use a multi-meter and buzz out the connections of the wires with the DASH disconnected to check for an error with the wire colouring. After this if then it is pointing towards a problem with the DASH and it will need to be returned for further investigation.

Kind regards,
