Dash2 with Link g4 - only showing 2 readings?

Hello,

i have a dash 2 and ive installed it in my Lexus with a Link G4.

I have 2 problems though:

1- the dash2 only shows 2 readings - the large one on the right, and the middle one. I cant get the left hand reading to appear?!

2- Talking to the link g4 seems not to want to happen. Ive connect the dash 2 with the correct ECU connector to the Can/RS232 port of the Link G4. Set the baud rate to 57.8k and datastream to off.but still no joy.

Right a bit more research and i seem to have solved both in one!

using the diagram in this thread:

I had the Rx to Rx and Tx to Tx when the should be opposing. Doh!

switched them round and voila, dash now reads ecu and the third input now appears!

hope this helps someone else.
