I'm using the CAN bus adapter with the DTA S100 ECU. I am able to read values but the update frequency seems to be very infrequent.
e.g. I get Throttle position but it has so few datapoints that it seems not to correspond to reality.
In the CAN config I have the maximum update frequency set to 10Hz which I would assume to be plenty. And I'm not aware of a way to change the update frequency in the DTA...
Any ideas?

Hi,
I use the CAN OBD interface and experience similar problems (it's pretty useless go get rpm only once per second or so...). See this thread: http://www.race-technology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1687
It seems that this is caused by the ECU itself which is not returning the data as frequently as expected.
I would suggest that you contact the RT support. You might get a new firmware for your CAN interface (at least I got one for my CAN OBD interface) that improved the situation in my case a little bit.
Best regards,
Thomas
