Sourcing a Green Connector to Create a Wiring Harness

Postby Evil Twin » Thu Apr 06, 2006 3:04 pm

I am in the process of creating a wiring harness to install permanently in my car, but I'd still like to be able to use the 12 volt auxilary power connector for use in other cars.

Where can I buy another of the wider of the two green plastic connectors?

Given that I'm Stateside, it doesn't make sense to ask RT to ship the part to me, as the cost of the shipping will likely be multiple-times the cost of the part.

Is this something I should be able to find locally or a proprietary part? If locally, where should I look for it?

Thanks for your help.

I did some research into this myself last week. It took me forever to find a sourse that would sell them in small quantities, but you can order them from Mouser Electronics in the US.
