Battery power for DL1

Postby chumpy36 » Fri Sep 07, 2007 1:32 pm

I'd like to use a battery to power the DL1 for some upcoming sessions. I would love to use something as small as a 9v for it. It doesn't need to last long (I can buy batteries as much as needed). I seem to remember that the DL1 will work on a range of voltages. Any idea if a 9 volt will work? And how long it would last? I'm looking for about 15-20 minutes of working time.

Thanks for any help...

You can buy battery 'packs' that hold 8 1.5V AA batteries (12V in total). This would be the ideal thing really, and with good batteries it'll last several hours I'd have thought.

The other option would be to use a laptop battery with a 12v voltage regulator.
