I'm in the process of configuring my new DL1 MK3 and I'm trying to figure out how to change the variable input name.

Example:

- What I have is: analog 5 {Analogue input 5}

- What I want: Brake Signal {Analogue input 5}

How do I accomplish the name change for the variable?

You are right, it is not difficult.

In the Analysis software, select Data - Variable Manager - External Inputs (in this case) - Then "+" on variable 5 - Variable Name which you then rename as desired.

While you are in there, look over some of the other things you can do such as units, smoothing and so forth.
