DL1 running 2 x displays ?

hi all, i was wondering about the DL1 logger being about to output display data to a Dash2 display (navi side) and a Dash4 on the driver side.
I was going to power the Dash4 'power' from the vehicle rather than draw more current from the DL1 unit to power the 2nd display, but wondering if anyone has done this and if so did they have any issues.
my plan was to simply parallel up the data lines from the RS232 output and feed to both displays
