DL1 sending incorrect values on Lines 1, 2 and 3

Postby Colin105 » Sat Apr 15, 2017 9:44 pm

So this is doing my head in at the moment. I have 2 DL1 loggers, a Mk1 and Mk2 and the both appear to have failed in the same way. When i put say 4 volts on pin 4 I get 4.000 sent out on the serial data (confirmed on the lite monitor) when i put the same 4 volts on pin 1 i get 11.632! even stranger if i put the same 4 volts on pins 2 and 3 i get 53.75!!!!. The thing is it still seams perfectly linear to the input voltage, i've even traced the voltages back to the AtoD multiplexing chip on the board and all voltages look good, its as though the micro has messed up a conversion somewhere. Or am i over thinking it and have missed something really obvious?
You only need 2 things in your tool box, duct tape and WD40.
-if it moves and it shouldn't use the duct tape
-if it doesn't move and it should use the WD40

Dear Sir,

Have the DL1 data loggers ever worked correctly before i.e. reading correct voltages on the analogue inputs?

Best regards,

Yea they have both worked as expected in the past

Right okay, there are a few things we can try:

* You could log some data on the logger(s) with a known voltage going into the inputs. Compare these values to those seen on lite monitor.
* You could apply the standard configuration to the loggers and re-test.
* You can send over some logged data to me and I can analyse it.

Try the suggestions above and let me know how it goes, my email address is: daniel@race-technology.com
